"the power of color"

“The Power of Color” was presented at Arte Nomada’s third edition. The exhibition took place at an abandoned prison in Panama City that was collectively restored by a group of artists. This piece was a conversation between digital art and the audience where colors convey emotions. We live in a world full of hues and shades, and have become somewhat desensitized from the power that color has on our instant emotions.

This piece takes on a journey of 4 emotions that express my personal experience with each color. The purpose of this piece is to experience the sensation of color being so cognitive to human emotion, that in return leads to one’s desire to let go, producing new feelings, thoughts, and sentiments in relation to color. Also, the music plays an essential role to ease the audience’s journey and heighten a whole new frame.
